Stake.us Overview
Stake.us is a sweepstakes casino with one of the biggest game libraries in the US sweeps market: thousands of slots, provably fair Stake Originals, live dealer tables and a proper poker room. Crypto redemptions usually land the same day, live chat reaches a person quickly, and a busy promotions calendar keeps free coins coming. It suits players who play often, are comfortable with crypto and live in one of the 27 eligible states or DC. The Stake Cash rules take a little planning, and Important T&C below sets them out.
It runs on two coins:
- Gold Coins are for fun play only. They can never be redeemed for anything.
- Stake Cash is the sweepstakes coin. Once it has been played through, it can be redeemed for prizes at $1 per Stake Cash, paid in crypto or to a bank account.
You never have to buy anything to play with Stake Cash. Free Stake Cash comes from the sign-up offer, the daily bonus, postcard requests and promotions. Buying Gold Coins is optional, and many packages come with bonus Stake Cash attached.
The operator is Sweepsteaks Limited, a Cyprus company. Its sweepstakes rules sit inside the Terms & Conditions, now on version 18.0, dated 10 July 2026. Part 4 covers the operator and its regulatory history.

Stake.us Player Reviews & Reputation
Stake.us holds a 4.4 TrustScore on Trustpilot from about 18,600 reviews, and the reviews there are about the sweepstakes site itself.
Stake.us Welcome Package, Free Coins & Promotions
The welcome offer is a free sign-up grant. There's no first-purchase deal on top, so most of the ongoing value comes from the daily bonus, rakeback and a busy promotions calendar.
Free signup offer
Sign up with a promo code and the sign-up offer is 250,000 Gold Coins + 25 Stake Cash, with no purchase needed. The amount can vary by code, so check what your code shows before you register.
To claim it:
- Enter the promo code within 24 hours of registering. There's an optional code field on the sign-up form, and the Welcome offer page in your account settings accepts it too.
- Verify your email address and your identity within 72 hours of registering.
- The bonus is sent by email within 48 hours of your account being verified.
The Gold Coins are entertainment only. The 25 Stake Cash is the part with prize value, and it carries the 3x playthrough covered under Important T&C.
First-purchase offer
Stake.us has no first-purchase offer. Instead, many regular Gold Coin packages come with bonus Stake Cash attached, and the amount is shown on each package before you pay. One exception is the $30 package, which comes without any Stake Cash. Bonus Stake Cash from a purchase also has a 3x playthrough.
Daily rewards and other free-entry routes
- Daily bonus: claim Gold Coins and Stake Cash once a day from your account. It needs no purchase. The amount isn't set out in the terms.
- Postcard requests: each valid postcard earns 5 Stake Cash. You write it by hand (card or plain paper at least 4 x 6 inches, unfolded, one per stamped envelope) with a unique code generated in your account, and post it from the same state as your verified address. You pay the postage, and no processing time is given.
- Monthly bonus: sent by email on a random date. You need a verified email address.
- Birthday bonus: needs a verified email and identity, a newsletter subscription and either regular play or a VIP rank. The coupon lasts 7 days.
- Bonus drops: codes posted on Stake.us's Telegram, X and Instagram channels. Each drop has a limited pool, a short life and its own playthrough, and codes tend to run out quickly.
Loyalty and ongoing promotions
The promotions calendar is constant and generous by sweeps standards, but most recurring prizes are won in races, raffles and challenges rather than handed out to everyone. At the end of September 2026 it included:
- Daily races with a 50 million Gold Coin pool
- Weekly Wrapped and RNG Rush, each sharing 50,000 Stake Cash
- Challenges on individual games
- Poker promotions, including 1,000,000 Stake Cash in drops on 6-Max ring tables running until 31 December 2026, plus poker jackpots and a weekly treasure hunt
The VIP club is ranked by how much Stake Cash you play, starting at Bronze (10,000 Stake Cash played) and rising to Obsidian (1 billion). Gold Coin play counts for very little: 2 million Gold Coins played equals 1 Stake Cash of progress. Rewards by level:
- Rakeback of 3.5% of the house edge from Bronze
- Weekly boosts for VIPs from Bronze, sent through the VIP Telegram channel
- Reloads from Platinum
- A dedicated VIP host from Platinum IV
Casual players shouldn't expect to climb far. There's also a referral programme that pays commission on the play of friends you refer.
We work out what a typical player actually ends up with from this exact offer, after the price. Gold Coins count as $0. See methodology →
True Value
The sign-up offer is worth about $20.59 on average. You need 50 Stake Cash to redeem for cash, and about 1 in 3 players who play it with small spins on a typical slot get there.
- Stake.us doesn't publish its redemption minimum. It shows on the Redeem screen once you're logged in and varies by coin, so this figure uses 50 Stake Cash.
- It uses the 3x playthrough from the terms and $1 per Stake Cash.
- Before the minimum comes into it, the 25 Stake Cash is worth about $22.00 after the playthrough.
- The 250,000 Gold Coins count as $0. They're for fun play and can't be redeemed.
Coin amounts aren't cash, and nothing here is a guaranteed result. The daily bonus, postcards, rakeback and VIP rewards sit outside this number.
Important T&C
The conditions worth knowing before you play, and how to handle them:
- 3x playthrough on all Stake Cash except winnings. The terms say every Stake Cash balance has to be played three times before it can be redeemed, apart from Stake Cash you win. An older help-centre article says only Stake Cash that comes with a purchase has a playthrough. The terms are the governing document, so plan on 3x for the sign-up coins too.
- Redeem before you buy again. A package with bonus Stake Cash locks the Redeem section until that new Stake Cash has been played 3x, so request any redemption you're ready for first.
- Bank redemptions follow a card purchase. The bank route opens only after at least one successful card purchase. Without one, you redeem in crypto.
- Redemptions follow how you paid. While you hold any Stake Cash, you can't switch between card and crypto, and crypto redemptions go back in the same coin you bought with. To switch, play or redeem your Stake Cash balance down to zero first.
- Check the Redeem screen for the minimum and fees. The terms let Stake.us set a redemption minimum and charge fees. Neither is published on the public site, and a crypto redemption fee applies but isn't quantified. Check the Redeem screen before you request.
- One redemption request every 24 hours. Large prizes can also be paid in smaller parts over several days.
- Florida cap. Players in Florida can redeem at most $5,000 a day.
- Redeem before a break or self-exclusion. While self-excluded you can't log in, play or redeem, so redeem first.
- Redeem before closing your account. Gold Coins, Stake Cash and unredeemed prizes are lost when an account is closed.
- Inactive accounts. Stake.us can deactivate an account it considers inactive, at its discretion. The terms don't define a time period.
- Free-coin conditions. The sign-up offer needs email and ID verification within 72 hours and a code within 24 hours. Postcard requests need a code generated in your account and must be posted from your home state. Weekly boosts are for VIPs only.
- Rules can change. Stake.us can change prizes, win rates, Stake Cash amounts and promotions at its discretion.
- Disputes go to arbitration. The terms use binding arbitration and a class-action waiver. You can opt out by sending a signed letter within 30 days of opening your account.
Stake.us Registration & Verification
Signing up takes a few minutes. The form asks for:
- Email address
- Username and password
- State
- Date of birth
- Phone number (optional)
- Referral or promo code (optional)
You must be 21 or older, or older if your state's age of majority is higher. Stake.us is open in the continental US and Hawaii, except in 22 excluded states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington and West Virginia. Alaska is also outside the eligible area. That leaves 27 states plus DC. The state dropdown on the sign-up form lists every state, so go by the excluded list above rather than the dropdown. The state block on this page shows each state's status, the sweepstakes law position and both age rules.
When Stake.us checks your ID
Plan on verifying your identity straight away. The sign-up offer needs it within 72 hours, and no prize can be redeemed without it. The check runs on your phone: a live photo of an unexpired US-issued ID card or driver's licence, plus a live selfie. It usually clears within minutes. If your account goes to a manual review, allow one to three days, and have a recent utility bill or bank statement ready for proof of address.
Stake.us can also ask for:
- Proof of address, as early as registration
- Proof that a payment card or account is yours
- Source of funds or wealth
Requested documents are due within 30 days, or the account can be restricted.
Account rules to know
- Payment methods must be in your name. Business and corporate accounts aren't allowed.
- No VPNs. Using one is grounds for account deactivation.
- Chargebacks lead to suspension, and the amount is treated as a debt you owe.
- Taxes on prizes are your responsibility. The terms don't mention tax forms.
Stake.us Purchases & Prize Redemptions
Buying Gold Coin packages
Gold Coins are bought from the Wallet. You choose a package, pick card or crypto, and confirm. Package prices and the bonus Stake Cash attached to each one show in the Wallet once you're logged in. Card purchases credit straight away, while crypto purchases wait for network confirmations.
- Purchase limit: $9,000 a day
- Fees: Stake.us doesn't list a purchase fee of its own. Crypto network fees and any card or currency-conversion costs are yours.
- Refunds: Gold Coin purchases are final and can't be refunded.
- Crypto networks: examples in the help centre include BTC, LTC, ETH (ERC20 or BEP20) and USDC (ERC20, BEP20 or Polygon). Cronos, Base, Arbitrum and Optimism aren't supported. The full list shows in the Wallet.
There's no introductory pricing to wait for. The Welcome Package section above covers the sign-up offer.
How prize redemption works
Only Stake Cash can be redeemed, and only once it has been played through. Your balance becomes redeemable when:
- your identity is verified;
- the 3x playthrough on your Stake Cash is complete (winnings are exempt); and
- you hold at least the minimum shown on the Redeem screen.
Then go to Wallet > Redeem, choose the route and confirm with your two-factor or email code. Each Stake Cash is worth $1. Crypto is paid at the market price, and bank redemptions are converted at the exchange rate against the US dollar.
Stake.us payment methods
| Method | Purchase | Redemption | Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crypto | Yes | Yes | Redeem in the same coin you bought with; a redemption fee applies but isn't published |
| Card | Yes | No | Must be in your name |
| Bank transfer | No | Yes | Opens only after at least one successful card purchase |
The Stake.us terms list crypto and bank (fiat) prizes and say prizes aren't necessarily limited to those two. Check the Redeem screen for any other options on your account.
While you hold any Stake Cash, you can't switch between card and crypto. If you bought with Bitcoin, you redeem in Bitcoin until your Stake Cash balance reaches zero.
Redemption limits and speed
- Minimum: not published. It shows on the Redeem screen and varies by coin.
- Frequency: one redemption request every 24 hours
- Florida: at most $5,000 a day
- Large prizes: can be paid in smaller parts over several days
- Timing: the terms only promise requests are processed in order, as soon as practicable
In practice, crypto redemptions usually land the same day, often within an hour, once your account is verified and the playthrough is done. Bank redemptions usually take one to three business days. Your first request can take longer if verification is still open.
Where redemptions get stuck
Most hold-ups are procedural and easy to avoid: Stake Cash that hasn't finished its 3x playthrough, a fresh purchase relocking the Redeem section, a balance below the coin's minimum, or trying to redeem by a different route than you paid with. Check the redemption progress bar and the Redeem screen before you request.
Stake.us Casino Games & Playing Experience
Stake.us has one of the largest libraries in the sweeps market, running to thousands of titles. Games can be played with Gold Coins for fun or with Stake Cash for prizes.
Slots
Slots make up most of the lobby, from studios including:
- Hacksaw Gaming
- Nolimit City
- Massive Studios
- Twist Gaming
- Titan Gaming
- Playson
- Booming Games
There's also a large block of Stake-exclusive slots. Titles trending in the lobby at the end of September 2026 included Haunted Duels, Dr Zappo, Unleashed Chaos and Buffalo Hold and Win Extreme 10,000. Game filters are limited, so finding something new takes some scrolling.
Stake Originals
The Originals are Stake.us's own quick-fire games, and they're a big part of why people choose the site:
- Dice
- Mines
- Plinko
- Crash and Limbo
- Hilo, Keno, Slide and Chicken
They're provably fair, so you can check any individual result yourself. Each game page shows its RTP; Dice, for example, lists 99.00%. That figure is for that game only, not the whole site.
Live dealer, table games and more
- Live dealer tables, including games from Evolution
- Table games in digital form
- Scratch cards and Burst crash-style games
Stake Poker
Stake.us runs a full poker room rather than a video-poker corner:
- Hold'em, Omaha and Pineapple
- All-in-or-Fold and Next! fast-fold tables
- JAQKpot tables and tournaments
Poker has its own promotions too, including Stake Cash drops on 6-Max ring tables until the end of 2026.
Game access and minimum play
Minimum and maximum bets are set per game and shown in each game's information. There's no site-wide maximum bet. There's no published list of games excluded from the Stake Cash playthrough either, and no game weighting. The terms let Stake.us change prizes, win rates and odds at its discretion.
Everyday experience
The site is fast and easy to find your way around. A menu on the left holds the lobby and promotions, and a site-wide community chat sits on the right. Live player counts on each game and a busy chat make the lobby feel more like a social platform than most sweeps sites. The flip side is that the desktop screen can feel crowded with the chat panel open. The mobile layout closely mirrors desktop, and the odd game can be slow to load on a phone.
Purchase & Redemption Methods
Eligible States
Stake.us says it accepts players in 27 states (counting DC). State law is a separate column: it's our tracker's reading of each state, and the two don't always agree.
Stake.us lists Utah, where our tracker records a ban in force. We show both. Check the site's own rules before you buy coins.
Stake.us sets its own minimum age of 21. Under each state we also show that state's minimum age for online gambling in general. It isn't a sweepstakes-specific rule, and the two ages can differ. More detail: gambling age by state. This is general information, not legal advice.

How each state treats sweepstakes casinos, with sources: sweepstakes casino laws by state.
Stake.us Operator, Sweepstakes Rules & Security
Stake.us is run by Sweepsteaks Limited, a company registered in Cyprus (number HE436222) with its registered office in Larnaka. Postcard requests go to its US mailing address in Dallas, Texas.
There's no separate Official Sweepstakes Rules page. The rules are part of the Terms & Conditions, currently version 18.0, dated 10 July 2026, and the site footer points there. The clauses that matter most cover Stake Cash and postcard entry, promotional play, redemption and verification. Gold Coin play and Stake Cash play are kept in separate sections, and the terms say plainly that Gold Coins can't win prizes.
Security basics:
- Two-factor or email code on every redemption request
- Provably fair Stake Originals, with results you can check yourself
- Identity checks before any prize is paid
Legal actions and state exits
Stake.us is operating normally. Its regulatory history over the past year:
- Florida: on 19 August 2026, Florida's Attorney General sued Sweepsteaks Limited, trading as Stake.us, along with other defendants, in Hillsborough County Circuit Court. The complaint alleges illegal online gambling and deceptive trade practices, and asks the court to stop Stake.us operating in Florida and to order restitution and penalties. These are allegations, not findings. Florida is still an eligible state under the current terms.
- Illinois: the Illinois Gaming Board sent Stake.us a cease-and-desist letter dated 4 February 2026. Illinois was added to the excluded states in May 2026.
- Other exits: California and Tennessee were added to the excluded states in December 2025, and Indiana and Maine in July 2026.
Operator availability and state law are separate questions. The state block on this page shows both for your state.
Stake.us Customer Support
- Live chat: Stake.us says it's open 24/7 once you're signed in, staffed by people rather than a bot
- Email: support@stake.us
- VIP host: from Platinum IV
- Account closure: accountclosure@stake.us, or from inside your account
- Phone: none
Live chat is the strong point. It usually reaches a person in under two minutes, and the answers tend to be useful. Email is slower, with replies usually arriving the same or next day. Chat is only for account holders, so you can't ask a question before you register. The site-wide community chat can help with quick questions, but it isn't official support.
Responsible Play
Stake.us's tools sit on its Responsible Play and Stake Smart pages:
- Break in Play: 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, 1 month, 2 months or 3 months. It can't be reversed once set. You can still log in and redeem, but you can't play, buy or claim daily or reload bonuses.
- Self-exclusion: starts at six months and goes up to indefinite. While self-excluded you can't log in, play or redeem, so redeem any Stake Cash first.
- Account closure: by email or from your account. It forfeits all Gold Coins, Stake Cash and unredeemed prizes, and there's a 24-hour wait before an account can be reopened.
- Budget Calculator and Self-Assessment tools on the Stake Smart page
- Support organisations: Gaming Addicts Anonymous, the Financial Counseling Association of America and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling
Stake.us doesn't publish a tool for setting your own purchase limit. The only published cap is the $9,000 daily purchase limit that applies to everyone.
Stake.us Mobile App & Browser Experience
Stake.us has two official iPhone apps, both published by Sweepsteaks Limited:
- Stake US - Casino & Slots, rated 4.7 from about 23,000 App Store ratings. It supports Stake Cash play for prizes, not just Gold Coins.
- Stake US - Poker
There's no Android app. Android players use the mobile site, which can be added to the home screen as a shortcut. A Google Play listing called "Stake US - Casino & Slots" is not from the operator. Stake.us's own help centre says to download its app only from the Apple App Store.
The iOS app runs smoothly and keeps the lobby uncluttered. In a mobile browser, the layout closely follows desktop, with a menu for browsing, games and chat, and it feels close to an app. The ID check itself runs on your phone, whichever way you sign up.
Worth knowing: if you register through the app, an affiliate referral isn't tracked. Sign up in a browser if you want a specific promo link to apply.
Stake.us Review Verdict — Should You Sign Up?
Stake.us is one of the most complete sweepstakes casinos available. The game library is huge, the Stake Originals and poker room give it something most rivals don't have, crypto redemptions usually arrive the same day, and live chat reaches a real person quickly. The sign-up offer of 25 Stake Cash with a promo code is large for a no-purchase offer, and the daily bonus and promotions keep free coins coming.
The Stake Cash rules reward a little planning: finish the playthrough and redeem before you buy another package, and check the Redeem screen for your coin's minimum. Important T&C in Part 1 has the details.
A good pick if you: play regularly in an eligible state, are comfortable with crypto and want a big library, Originals, poker and an active community.
Consider another site if: you want a 1x playthrough, a first-purchase deal or a native Android app.
What would make Stake.us better: publish the redemption minimum and fees for each route, bring the help centre in line with the terms on playthrough for free Stake Cash, and publish the sign-up offer amounts on a public page.
Final score
The OddsGuru verdict
“One of the most complete sweepstakes casinos: a huge game library, Stake Originals, a real poker room, same-day crypto redemptions and fast human live chat. Plan around a 3x playthrough on Stake Cash and a redemption minimum you check on the Redeem screen.”
