Crown Coins Casino Overview
Crown Coins Casino is a slots-first sweepstakes site with a strong iPhone app, a low redemption minimum and one of the busiest rewards programmes in US sweeps gaming. There are no redemption fees, no purchase is needed to redeem, and Skrill prizes often arrive within a day. It suits players who like daily missions, VIP perks and playing on an iPhone, and who live in one of the 37 eligible states or DC.
One thing to know up front: Crown's sweepstakes rules, its Sweeps Policy, aren't on its public site, so look for them inside your account and read them before you buy. Part 4 sets out what is and isn't published.
It runs on two coins:
- Crown Coins are for fun play only. They have no cash value and can't be redeemed.
- Sweeps Coins are the sweepstakes coin. Sweeps Coins won through play can be redeemed for cash prizes, and Crown's redeem screen values them at $1 each.
You never have to buy anything to play with Sweeps Coins or to redeem them. Free Sweeps Coins come from the sign-up offer, the daily bonus, missions, giveaways and a mail-in request. Buying Crown Coins is optional, and most packages come with free Sweeps Coins attached.
The site is run by Sunflower. Part 4 covers the operator details and its regulatory history.

Crown Coins Casino Player Reviews & Reputation
Crown Coins Casino holds a 4.6 TrustScore on Trustpilot from about 321,000 reviews, 84% of them five-star. Part 4 also covers its Better Business Bureau profile.
Crown Coins Casino Welcome Package, Free Coins & Promotions
The welcome offer has two parts: a free sign-up grant and a first-purchase boost. The free grant is fully public. The first-purchase offer is not.
Free signup offer
Every new player gets 100,000 Crown Coins + 2 Sweeps Coins free. There's no code to enter and no purchase needed.
- Create an account with an email address or a Google, Facebook or Apple login, confirm your phone number, and press Claim Welcome Bonus.
- No claim deadline is stated.
- You don't need to verify your ID to receive it, only to redeem a prize later.
- In Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine and Tennessee you get the Crown Coins but no Sweeps Coins.
The Crown Coins are entertainment only. The 2 Sweeps Coins are the part with prize value.
First-purchase offer
Crown's public site promises "a minimum of 150% extra coins on your first purchase" and nothing more. The package price, the number of coins and whether any extra Sweeps Coins are included are shown only inside the coin store, which you can see only once you're logged in. There's no public code. Check what the store offers before you buy, because the offer can't be confirmed from outside.
Daily rewards and other free-entry routes
- Daily bonus: log in each day to claim it. The streak resets at 10:00 UTC, consecutive days pay more, and a 30-day bar adds gifts on days 8, 15, 22 and 30. Crown doesn't publish the amounts. For a new account the daily bonus is mostly Crown Coins, with roughly 0.5 to 1.3 Sweeps Coins a week, and it grows as you climb the VIP levels.
- Mail-in request: Crown confirms that a free mail-in entry exists, but the amount, address and instructions sit in the Sweeps Policy, which isn't on the public site.
- Daily Missions: tasks in both coin modes, resetting at 10:00 UTC.
- Giveaways: social-media contests and emailed gifts. These go to limited numbers of winners, so treat them as a bonus.
- Crown Sports: free predictions with Sweeps Coin rewards, which have to be played before they can be redeemed.
- Free Crown Coin top-up when your Crown Coin balance runs out.
Loyalty and ongoing promotions
The rewards layer is the part of Crown that stands out. Races, tournaments, rotating mini-games and Crown Jackpot run alongside the daily bonus. The VIP Club runs Entry, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Emerald, with a Pearl tier shown in the app and an invite-only Dynasty level above it. By level:
- Coinback from Bronze: a weekly return worked out from the house edge on your eligible play, at 2% for Bronze rising to 6% for Emerald. Crown doesn't publish a rate for Pearl. It's claimed on Tuesdays, and only spins with redeemable Sweeps Coins count.
- VIP Monthly Bonus in Crown Coins and Sweeps Coins, fixed by tier, plus level-up bonuses
- Birthday Bonus from Silver
- A personal host at Dynasty
The referral programme pays 400,000 Crown Coins + 20 Sweeps Coins per friend, but only once that friend has spent $14.90 or more. Some extras cost money: Wheel of Deals boosts apply only if you buy the package shown, and the Crown Road pass has a paid Premium track.
We work out what a typical player actually ends up with from this exact offer, after the price. Gold Coins count as $0. See methodology →
True Value
The free sign-up offer is worth about $1.50 on average. You need 50 Sweeps Coins to redeem for cash, and about 1 in 43 players who play it with small spins on a typical slot get there.
- Crown publishes no playthrough multiplier. Its redeem screen says Sweeps Coins from purchases and bonuses can't be redeemed until they're played, while Sweeps Coins you win can. That works like a 1x playthrough, the common default, so this figure uses 1x.
- It uses $1 per Sweeps Coin from the redeem screen and the 50-coin minimum from Crown's help centre.
- Before the minimum comes into it, the 2 Sweeps Coins are worth about $1.92 after the playthrough.
- The 100,000 Crown Coins count as $0. They're for fun play and can't be redeemed.
- The first-purchase offer can't be valued. Publicly, Crown says only "a minimum of 150% extra coins on your first purchase". The price and the coins are behind the login.
Coin amounts aren't cash, and nothing here is a guaranteed result. The daily bonus, missions, Coinback, VIP rewards, referrals and the mail-in request sit outside this number.
Important T&C
Crown's Sweeps Policy isn't on its public site, so the points below come from its help centre, its redeem screen and its Terms. The conditions worth knowing, and how to handle them:
- Play through unplayed coins before you redeem. The redeem screen says: "Upon redemption, all unplayed Sweeps Coins will expire." Any Sweeps Coins you bought or were given and haven't played yet are lost when you redeem, so play them through first.
- Playthrough isn't published as a multiplier. Crown states no multiplier, no eligible-game list and no weighting. The redeem screen treats unplayed coins as locked until played once, though no public rule fixes that in place.
- Log in at least every 60 days. Sweeps Coins lapse 60 days after your last login, and Crown's help centre says they can also be forfeited at Crown's discretion.
- Redeem before closing an account. Closing an account forfeits your Sweeps Coins, for any reason. Duplicate accounts forfeit everything, and Crown allows one account per device.
- No VPNs. Using one is grounds for closing your account.
- Prize caps. New York and Florida residents are capped at $5,000 per redemption. Skrill redemptions top out at $14,500 and the prepaid card at $5,000. The app also refers to a cap per period, but the amount isn't published.
- Finish requests within 14 days. A redemption that isn't finalised within 14 days is cancelled and the coins go back to your balance.
- Crown Rips come with purchases. Eligible Crown Coin packages include a free Crown Rips pack: a collectible trading card chosen at random. Each card has a stated market value, and you can sell it back for a Cash Balance, keep it in a vault (where it's sold automatically after three days) or have it shipped to you for a fee. What you get is random, so the value of each pack varies. Purchased Cash Balance has to be used before it can be redeemed.
- Free-coin conditions. Coinback needs VIP Bronze and counts only redeemable Sweeps Coins. Referral rewards need your friend to spend $14.90. Wheel of Deals pays only if you buy. The mail-in terms aren't public.
- Rules can change. The Terms let Crown change promotions at any time without notice.
- Disputes go to arbitration. The Terms use binding individual arbitration and a class-action waiver. You can opt out by sending a hand-signed notice to support@crowncoinscasino.com within 30 days of opening your account.
- Reopening a closed account has a condition. Crown's reactivation form requires you to agree not to file complaints against Crown.
Crown Coins Casino Registration & Verification
Signing up takes two or three minutes: an email address and password, or a Google, Facebook or Apple login, then an email confirmation and a text-message code sent to your phone. The welcome coins land straight away. Expect a run of promotional pop-ups the first time you log in.
You must be 18 or older, and at least the age of majority where you live. Crown sets 19 for Alabama and Nebraska, and its iPhone app listing says 19+. Sweeps Coin play is open in 37 states plus DC and excluded in 13:
- No access at all in Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Washington.
- Crown Coins only in Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine and Tennessee. You can play for fun but get no Sweeps Coins. Maine and Tennessee moved to this in July 2026.
- California, Delaware and New York are treated as excluded too, but Crown's sources conflict there. Crown's current Terms bar registration from California and Delaware, and New York's ban on this kind of sweepstakes has been in force since 5 December 2025 (California's since 1 January 2026). Crown's own site settings still list Sweeps Coin play as available in all three. California has a separate social-only version of the site with no Sweeps Coins.
Two more states need a note:
- Indiana: Sweeps Coins are renamed "Sweeps Crown Tickets", and winnings go into a separate Cash Balance with a $50 minimum to redeem.
- Oklahoma: eligible today, but a state ban on this kind of sweepstakes takes effect on 1 November 2026.
US territories are excluded under the Terms. The state block on this page shows each state's status, the sweepstakes law position and both age rules.
When Crown checks your ID
You don't need ID to sign up or play. Pressing Redeem for the first time starts full verification:
- a phone check
- a government photo ID (temporary IDs aren't accepted)
- a live selfie check
- proof of address when asked, dated within three months and not a PO box
Clean submissions usually clear within minutes to a few hours. Any mismatch, even an abbreviated street name, sends the check to a slower manual review, so doing it early and carefully saves time on your first redemption.
Crown can ask for more checks at any time. Its automated systems can also trigger a source-of-funds check, which can mean supplying documents such as a W-2 or an IRS tax transcript.
Account rules to know
- One account per person and per device. Duplicate accounts forfeit everything.
- Payment details must match. Your card's billing address must match your account, and the account you redeem to must be in your name.
- No VPNs. Using one is grounds for closing your account.
- Taxes on prizes are your responsibility. Crown calls itself a social gaming platform and doesn't provide tax guidance or reporting.
Crown Coins Casino Purchases & Prize Redemptions
Buying Crown Coin packages
Crown Coins are bought from the store button next to your balance: pick a package, choose a payment method and confirm. The coins land straight away. The store is visible only once you're logged in.
Crown's help centre lists these regular packages, but the article was last updated in September 2025 and current prices may differ:
| Price | Crown Coins | Free Sweeps Coins |
|---|---|---|
| $1.99 | 40,000 | None |
| $4.99 | 100,000 | 5 |
| $9.99 | 200,000 | 10 |
| $19.99 | 400,000 | 20 |
| $49.99 | 1,000,000 | 50 |
| $99.99 | 2,000,000 | 100 |
- Fees: Crown doesn't state a purchase fee. The Terms say any fees your own payment provider charges are yours.
- Sales: discounted packs with extra Sweeps Coins rotate weekly.
- Extras: eligible packages come with a Crown Rips card pack, covered under Important T&C above.
The Welcome Package section above covers the first-purchase offer.
How prize redemption works
Only Sweeps Coins you've won through play can be redeemed. Coins you bought or were given sit in an "unplayed" balance until you play them. You can redeem when:
- your account is fully verified;
- you hold at least 50 redeemable Sweeps Coins; and
- the account you're paying to is in your name.
Crown says you can redeem without ever making a purchase. Each Sweeps Coin is worth $1. Redeeming wipes any unplayed Sweeps Coins still in your account, so play them first.
Crown Coins Casino payment methods
| Method | Purchase | Redemption | Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) | Yes | No | Billing address must match your account |
| Apple Pay / Google Pay | Yes | No | Depends on your device |
| PayNearMe | Yes | No | Pay cash at 7-Eleven, CVS, Walgreens or Family Dollar within a two-hour window |
| Skrill | Yes | Yes | 50 Sweeps Coins minimum; up to $14,500 per redemption |
| Instant Bank Transfer | No | Yes | 50 Sweeps Coins minimum; US bank accounts only |
| Bank transfer (ACH) | No | Yes | 50 Sweeps Coins minimum; US bank accounts only |
| Prepaid virtual card | No | Yes | 50 Sweeps Coins minimum; up to $5,000; sent by email |
There are no gift cards and no crypto on Crown, for purchases or prizes.
Bank prizes can't go to PayPal, Cash App, Venmo or other app-based accounts. The prepaid card is a Visa or Mastercard for online spending that can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It lasts six months from activation and can't be moved to a bank account, so it suits smaller prizes you plan to spend.
Redemption limits and speed
- Minimum: 50 redeemable Sweeps Coins on every route
- Fees: Crown says it charges none
- New York and Florida: $5,000 per redemption
- Route caps: Skrill $14,500; prepaid card $5,000
- Period cap: the app refers to a maximum per period, but the amount isn't published
- Frequency: more than one redemption is allowed
Crown says it reviews every request within 24 to 72 hours, and in some cases up to seven days. After approval, it says bank transfers take one to five business days (Instant Bank Transfer typically one to three), Skrill one to three business days, and the prepaid card arrives by email straight away. You can cancel a request only before it's approved.
In practice, Skrill is usually the fastest route, often within hours or by the next day. Bank transfers, including Instant Bank Transfer, commonly land about three days after approval. The first request is the slow one while verification finishes.
Where redemptions get stuck
Most requests go through without trouble, and some take longer, with week-long reviews, repeated follow-ups or refusals citing the terms. The common snags are procedural and easy to avoid: a name or address that doesn't match your ID, a bank or Skrill account in someone else's name, a balance below 50 redeemable Sweeps Coins, or a request left unfinished. A request that isn't finalised within 14 days is cancelled and the coins return to your balance.
Crown Coins Casino Games & Playing Experience
Crown is a slots site first. The library has grown quickly through 2025 and 2026 and now runs from several hundred games to more than 900, depending on your state, because many studios are only licensed in some states. Every game can be played with Crown Coins for fun or with Sweeps Coins for prizes.
Slots
Slots make up nearly all of the lobby, with plenty of hold-and-win and jackpot games. Studios on Crown's provider list include:
- Playson
- Hacksaw Gaming
- Nolimit City
- Big Time Gaming
- Red Tiger
- NetEnt
- Playtech
- RubyPlay
- Booming Games
- 3 Oaks Gaming
The in-house Crown Coins Originals and exclusives are a real strength, alongside a provider list that leans towards mid-tier studios. Pragmatic Play isn't offered in the US.
Table games, live casino and more
- Table games: a handful of digital blackjack and roulette games, several of them Crown exclusives. There's no full table section.
- Live games: a small set of live game shows and tables.
- Crown Bingo Live: Crown's own bingo, played with paid cards in scheduled draws. Bingo prizes go into a separate Bingo Sweeps balance, which has a $5 minimum to redeem and can't be used on slots.
- Crown Sports: free sports predictions that pay Sweeps Coin rewards.
- Mini-games such as PlinCrown and CrownMiner, some of which come with purchases.
Jackpots
Crown Jackpot, launched in September 2026, is an opt-in side jackpot: switch it on and each spin costs an extra 0.10 Sweeps Coins on top of your stake. The hold-and-win jackpot slots sit alongside it. Only the Sweeps Coin jackpots carry prize value.
Game access and minimum play
You switch between Crown Coin and Sweeps Coin mode with a toggle in the lobby. Crown publishes no minimum or maximum stake, and the Terms let it change stake limits. Some studios and games aren't available in every state. There's no published list of which games count towards play or how much.
Game information and fairness
Crown says every game uses a certified random number generator audited by independent testers, but it doesn't name them. No return to player (RTP) or volatility figures are published, in the lobby or anywhere else, so check each game's own rules screen.
Everyday experience
The site is colourful and simple, and the games load quickly. Finding games takes some browsing: filters are thin, with a handful of categories plus provider and jackpot filters, and pop-ups appear on almost every visit. Some promotional pop-ups on desktop don't link to the right game. The iPhone app is smoother than the browser site, as the mobile section covers.
Purchase & Redemption Methods
Eligible States
Crown Coins says it accepts players in 38 states (counting DC). State law is a separate column: it's our tracker's reading of each state, and the two don't always agree.
Crown Coins lists Indiana and Utah, where our tracker records a ban in force. We show both. Check the site's own rules before you buy coins.
Crown Coins sets its own minimum age of 18. Under each state we also show that state's minimum age for online gambling in general. It isn't a sweepstakes-specific rule, and the two ages can differ. More detail: gambling age by state. This is general information, not legal advice.

Crown Coins Casino Operator, Sweepstakes Rules & Security
Crown's documents name the operator in two ways:
- The site footer says the site, its promotions and its prizes are operated by Sunflower Limited, at PO Box 5114, Fredericksburg, Virginia, and that payments are processed by Sunflower Technology Inc.
- The Terms of Service say the platform is run by Sunflower Technology Inc., at an address in Newark, Delaware, together with Stiarsia Ltd.
Crown publishes no registered office for Sunflower Limited and no licence of any kind. That leaves the footer and the Terms as the main record of who runs the site.
The missing sweepstakes rules
A sweepstakes site normally publishes its official rules: the document that sets out how Sweeps Coins are awarded, how much play is required, which games count, the prize limits, the free mail-in entry and how disputes are handled. Crown's is called the Sweeps Policy, and the site footer, the redeem screen and several help articles all send you to it. The page returns a not-found error, and has done since at least July 2026. The terms pages for the VIP Club, the referral programme and Crown Sports are missing too.
The only legal document Crown does publish is its Terms of Service, version 4.1, dated 24 September 2026. It describes a social-only product, says only Crown Coins can be bought, never mentions Sweeps Coins or prizes, and calls itself the entire agreement between you and Crown.
In practice, the rules that decide your prizes, your limits and your options in a dispute can't be read before you sign up. The Sweeps Policy may appear once you're logged in, so if you join, find it and save a copy before you buy anything or redeem. Until Crown publishes it, every rule in this review comes from its help centre and in-app wording, which sit outside what the Terms call the entire agreement.
Security basics:
- ID and live selfie checks before any prize is paid
- Name checks on the account you redeem to, with prizes sent only to accounts in your name
- Certified random number generators, Crown says, though it doesn't name the testers
Legal actions and state exits
Crown is operating normally. Its regulatory history:
- Illinois: the Illinois Gaming Board sent Crown a cease-and-desist letter on 4 February 2026, calling on it to block Illinois residents or stop offering prizes there. Illinois is still an eligible state on Crown today.
- Maryland: the state's gaming regulator sent a cease-and-desist letter to Sunflower Limited, trading as Crown Coins Casino, on 3 June 2025. Maryland is still eligible too.
- Tennessee: Crown was on the list of sites that received cease-and-desist letters from Tennessee's Attorney General in December 2025 and said they would comply. Crown stopped Sweeps Coin play there in July 2026.
- Federal lawsuits: several federal lawsuits naming Sunflower have been filed in Ohio, New Jersey, Utah, Kentucky and Alabama since 2025, and most are still open. Lawsuits contain allegations, not findings.
- Oklahoma: a state ban on this kind of sweepstakes takes effect on 1 November 2026. Oklahoma is eligible until then.
- State exits: Maine and Tennessee moved to Crown Coins only in July 2026, joining Connecticut and New Jersey. Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Washington have no access.
Crown's Better Business Bureau profile, opened in April 2025, carries an F rating. Crown isn't BBB-accredited, and the profile lists 447 complaints over three years.
Operator availability and state law are separate questions. The state block on this page shows both for your state.
Crown Coins Casino Customer Support
- In-app and website messaging: starts with an automated assistant called Crownie, then becomes a ticket if you need a person
- Contact form for logged-out players
- Email: support@crowncoinscasino.com
- Live chat: the Terms promise it, but the help centre describes only tickets and the automated assistant
- Phone: the Terms list a number, but the help centre says Crown doesn't offer phone support. Use messaging or email instead.
Crown says support is available 24/7. In practice, human replies to tickets usually arrive within 4 to 18 hours, and the answers tend to be accurate and polite. Plan on hours, not minutes. The help centre is large and mostly current.
Responsible Play
Crown's tools sit under Support, then Responsible Gaming, then Limit My Play:
- Purchase limits: daily, weekly or monthly. Raising a limit takes 48 hours to come into effect.
- Cooldown: a break of up to 90 days. Once set, it can't be shortened or removed.
- Permanent closure or self-exclusion. Crown can review a request to reopen after 90 days, subject to the reactivation condition under Important T&C.
- Reminders and account history, listed in Crown's Responsible Social Play policy.
Closing an account forfeits every balance, including Sweeps Coins, so redeem anything you can first. Crown's policy points to resources for video-game addiction and credit counselling rather than gambling helplines.
Crown Coins Casino Mobile App & Browser Experience
The iPhone app is Crown's best feature. CrownCoins Casino on the App Store supports the full product: Sweeps Coin play, purchases, ID checks and redemptions, plus in-app support. It's smoother and faster than the browser site.
There's no Android app. Crown links only to the App Store, and there's no Google Play listing. Android players use the mobile browser site instead.
The browser site covers everything on desktop and mobile with no download.
Crown Coins Casino Review Verdict — Should You Sign Up?
Crown gets the everyday parts of a sweepstakes site right. The redemption minimum is 50 Sweeps Coins, half the 100 many sweeps sites ask for, and the redeem screen treats bought and bonus coins as needing just one play. There are no redemption fees, no purchase is needed to redeem, and Skrill prizes often arrive within a day. The iPhone app supports prize play from start to finish, and the daily bonus, missions, Coinback and VIP levels give regular players far more to do than most sweeps sites.
Crown's sweepstakes rules aren't published on its public site, and its public Terms describe a social-only product. If you join, look for the Sweeps Policy inside your account, and read and save a copy before you buy. Check the first-purchase offer in the store before paying, and redeem a small amount first. Part 4 covers the operator and its regulatory history.
A good pick if you: use an iPhone, play daily in an eligible state and want a low redemption minimum and a deep rewards programme.
Consider another site if: you want to read the full sweepstakes rules before signing up, or you want an Android app, gift-card prizes or dependable live chat.
What would make Crown better: restore the Sweeps Policy on the public site, publish the first-purchase offer and the mail-in instructions, make its footer and Terms agree on who runs it, and settle whether live chat and phone support exist.
Final score
The OddsGuru verdict
“A polished sweeps site with a low 50 Sweeps Coin redemption minimum, one-play coins, a strong iPhone app and deep daily rewards. Its sweepstakes rules aren't on the public site, so look for them in your account before you buy, and play through any unplayed coins before redeeming.”
