Is online betting legal in Brazil?
Both products are legal, and both are legal in exactly one place. That place is a company licensed by the Ministry of Finance, on a .bet.br address, which you can check from the address bar. The regulator is the Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas, within the Ministério da Fazenda. A site without a .bet.br licence is operating illegally in Brazil, and the government blocks those sites.
Crypto is settled too. Licensed Brazilian casinos and sportsbooks are banned from accepting it, so there is no legal way to play or bet with crypto in the country.
The platforms below are none of that. They accept Brazilian players under their own terms, and their licences come from elsewhere. BC.Game's are recorded as Curaçao and Anjouan, and Thrill's as Anjouan.
What to check before you deposit from Brazil
Once your location is set, each card answers three questions from three different sources.
Begin with what the country allows. "Does Brazil allow online casinos?" On the sportsbook block it asks about online sports betting. That answer comes from Brazilian law rather than from the operator, with the .bet.br rule behind it.
Then there is the operator's own answer. "Does this platform accept players from Brazil?" comes straight from its terms, and it is the only one of the three the operator supplies. Sometimes it comes back Unsure, which just means those terms never mention Brazil. Treat that as a question to put to the operator rather than a yes.
The licence question repays a second look. "Does this platform have a licence valid for Brazil?" reads against the licence jurisdiction printed on the card. That tells you which regulator would hear a complaint, and a .bet.br licence is not among them.
