Legendz Overview
Legendz is a sweepstakes casino and sweepstakes sportsbook in one account. The casino side carries a large slot library, live dealer tables and a set of in-house Originals, and the same coins work on the sports side. New players get 3 free Sweeps Coins with no code, the default playthrough is 1x, and gift-card prizes start at 50 Sweeps Coins. It suits players who want casino games and sports picks in one place and live in one of the 39 eligible states or DC.
The cash route needs 100 Sweeps Coins, so the free coins are a taster rather than a path to cash on their own. The True Value section below shows what they're worth.
It runs on two coins:
- Gold Coins are for fun play only. They have no cash value and can't be redeemed for prizes.
- Sweeps Coins are the sweepstakes coin. Sweeps Coins won through play can be redeemed for prizes at $1 each, as cash or as gift cards.
You never have to buy anything to play with Sweeps Coins or to redeem them. Free Sweeps Coins come from the sign-up offer, the daily bonus, a mail-in request, social-media giveaways and promotions. Buying Gold Coins is optional, and marked packages come with free Sweeps Coins attached.
Legendz launched in 2024 and is run by Platinum Panther Ltd, registered in Malta. Its Sweeps Rules are a public document, currently version 3.2, dated 12 March 2026. Part 4 covers the operator and its regulatory history.

Legendz Player Reviews & Reputation
Legendz holds a 3.5 TrustScore on Trustpilot from about 2,950 reviews: about half are five-star and just over a quarter are one-star. Part 4 also covers its Better Business Bureau profile.
Legendz Welcome Package, Free Coins & Promotions
The welcome offer has two parts: a free sign-up grant and a first-purchase boost. The free grant is fully public. The first-purchase offer is shown only once you're logged in.
Free signup offer
Every new player gets 500 Gold Coins + 3 Sweeps Coins free. There's no code to enter and no purchase needed.
- Register with an email address and password, or with Google or Facebook, then confirm your email and the code sent to your phone.
- The registration form has an optional promo-code box. You don't need a code for this offer.
- No claim deadline is stated.
- You don't need to verify your ID to receive the coins, only to redeem a prize later.
The Gold Coins are entertainment only. The 3 Sweeps Coins are the part with prize value, and they carry the 1x playthrough covered under Important T&C.
First-purchase offer
Legendz says new players get "100% extra coins on your first purchase". The package prices, the number of coins and whether the extra includes Sweeps Coins as well as Gold Coins are shown only in the coin store, which you can see once you're logged in. There's no public code.
- It's a one-time offer on your first purchase.
- Legendz's current FAQ states no time limit, but some players report a one-hour window after sign-up. Open the store soon after you register so you don't miss it.
- The bonus Sweeps Coins carry the same 1x playthrough as other Sweeps Coins.
Check the store before you pay, because the exact offer can't be confirmed from outside.
Daily rewards and other free-entry routes
- Daily bonus: claimable once every 24 hours. Legendz doesn't publish the amount. It currently works as a random daily prize, and steadier daily Sweeps Coin rewards come with the higher loyalty levels.
- Mail-in request: 3 Sweeps Coins per valid request card. You generate a one-time Postal Request Code in the lobby, copy it and a short statement by hand onto a 4 x 6 inch blank white card, and post it in a stamped #10 envelope to Legendz, Sweeps Coin Request Card, PO Box 628, Watertown, NY 13601. The conditions are strict, and Important T&C lists them.
- Social-media giveaways with Sweeps Coin prizes. These go to limited numbers of winners, so treat them as a bonus.
- Daily races: free spins, up to 100, with winnings paid in Sweeps Coins.
Loyalty and ongoing promotions
Legendz runs a points-based loyalty ladder from Pioneer up to Legend. Points come from play, and progress starts to slip after 30 days without playing. Higher levels bring bigger daily prizes, level-up and birthday bonuses, and at the top a personal account manager and priority support. Legendz also offers to match your VIP status from another sweepstakes site if you send proof.
Alongside it:
- Missions, raffles and weekly tournaments, which mostly reward regular Sweeps Coin play
- A weekly loss-back day on Thursdays for players who've played a set amount
- A Reward Coins shop, where points can be swapped for Sweeps Coins or free spins, though the exchange rate is steep
The referral programme pays 25 Sweeps Coins for each friend who signs up through your link and buys $25 or more within 30 days, plus 50 Sweeps Coins more if that friend reaches $100 in purchases within 30 days of registering. The top 10 referrers each month share a 10,000 Sweeps Coin pool.
We work out what a typical player actually ends up with from this exact offer, after the price. Gold Coins count as $0. See methodology →
True Value
The free sign-up offer is worth about $1.90 on average. You need 100 Sweeps Coins to redeem for cash, and about 1 in 63 players who play it with small spins on a typical slot get there.
- The playthrough, coin value and cash minimum all come from the Sweeps Rules: 1x, $1 per Sweeps Coin and 100 coins. The 3 Sweeps Coins come from Legendz's sign-up banner and FAQ, since the rules don't list a sign-up grant.
- Prizeout gift cards start lower, at 50 Sweeps Coins. The figure uses the cash minimum.
- Before the minimum comes into it, the 3 Sweeps Coins are worth about $2.88 after the playthrough.
- The 500 Gold Coins count as $0. They're for fun play and can't be redeemed.
- The first-purchase offer can't be valued. Publicly, Legendz says only "100% extra coins on your first purchase". The prices and the coins are behind the login.
Coin amounts aren't cash, and nothing here is a guaranteed result. The daily bonus, mail-in requests, races, referrals, loyalty rewards and any purchase fee sit outside this number.
Important T&C
The conditions worth knowing, and how to handle them:
- Plan on 1x, and know it can rise. Every Sweeps Coin you receive, free or bundled with a purchase, has to be played once before winnings from it can be redeemed. The rules also let Legendz require up to 20x "in its sole discretion". The True Value figures above assume 1x.
- Any Sweeps Coin game counts. The playthrough can be met in any combination of Sweeps Coin games, with no weighting table.
- Watch both balances. Only Sweeps Coins won through play can be redeemed. Coins you were given or bought sit in an unplayed balance until you play them, and the redeem page shows the two separately.
- Log in at least every 45 days. Sweeps Coins expire 45 days after your last login, sooner than the 60 days common on sweeps sites. An account with no login for 12 months can be closed.
- Daily spin rewards need a purchase. The rules keep daily spin rewards available for 10 days but say they expire if no purchase is made. If you don't plan to buy, treat them as a bonus.
- Follow the mail-in rules to the letter. Each card must be handwritten and legible, in blue ink only, one card per envelope, with your name as it appears on your government ID. It must be posted from the state of your verified home address, and each Postal Request Code expires 45 days after it's shown. A card in any other colour of ink is void.
- Check the checkout screen for fees. The Terms let Legendz add a processing fee to a purchase or a redemption, shown at checkout. Legendz doesn't publish a figure; a 2.9% fee on purchases is widely reported.
- Minimums can change. The rules let Legendz change the 100 and 50 Sweeps Coin minimums at its discretion.
- Prize caps. In Florida, a prize from a single spin or play is capped at $5,000. Legendz can also limit redemptions to $10,000 a day, or another amount over any period.
- Cash goes back the way you paid. Cash prizes go to the account or wallet you bought Gold Coins with, or to a bank account you nominate if that isn't possible. Legendz can insist on the purchase method.
- Play features through as they come. The Terms treat saving game rounds or bonus features until your playthrough is done as abuse, and let Legendz remove winnings for it.
- Redeem before closing an account. Sweeps Coins can be forfeited when an account closes for any reason.
- Report billing problems within 30 days. Gold Coin purchases are final, and the Terms ask you to raise any billing error within 30 days of the purchase.
- Liability is capped. The Terms limit Legendz's liability to what you've paid it in the 30 days before you first make a claim.
- Disputes go to arbitration. The Terms use binding individual arbitration through JAMS, held in New York, and a class-action waiver. You can opt out by posting a written notice to Platinum Panther's Malta address within 30 days of first agreeing to the Terms.
Legendz Registration & Verification
Signing up takes a few minutes. You enter an email address and password, or use a Google or Facebook login, then add your legal name, date of birth, home address and a US mobile number, which is confirmed with a text-message code. The free coins land once registration is complete. Expect a coin-store pop-up straight after you sign up.
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher. Legendz doesn't publish separate ages by state. Under its current rules, Sweeps Coin play is open in 39 states plus DC and excluded in 11: California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Washington.
- In the excluded states you can't open an account at all, even for Gold Coin play. Gold Coin purchases made from those states are voided and refunded minus an admin fee of up to 10%.
- Ohio gets the casino but not the sportsbook.
- Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota and West Virginia were added back to the eligible list in March 2026.
- Oklahoma is eligible today, but a state ban on this kind of sweepstakes takes effect on 1 November 2026.
US territories and everywhere outside the US are excluded too. The rules date from March 2026 and state laws keep moving, so check the state block on this page, which shows each state's status, the sweepstakes law position and both age rules.
When Legendz checks your ID
You don't need ID to sign up or play. You do need it before any prize is paid, so it's worth doing early to keep your first request from waiting. Verification covers:
- a government photo ID (driver's licence, state ID or passport)
- a selfie
- proof of address dated within the last three months
- your Social Security number
Automated checks usually clear within minutes. Some accounts go to a manual review that can take a day or two, and a name or address that doesn't match what you entered at sign-up is the usual cause.
Extra checks, including source of funds or wealth, apply to any single or cumulative purchase above $2,000, and Legendz can ask for more at any time. Requested documents are due within 30 days, or the account can be closed or restricted.
Account rules to know
- Payment methods must be in your name. A mismatch between your account name and your payment method gets the account suspended straight away.
- No VPNs. Using a VPN or proxy to hide your location breaches the Terms, and coins can be confiscated with no refund of purchases.
- Taxes on prizes are your responsibility.
Legendz Purchases & Prize Redemptions
Buying Gold Coin packages
Gold Coins are bought from the coin store, opened from the plus button next to your balance: pick a package or type in your own amount, choose a payment method and confirm. The coins land straight away. The store and its prices are visible only once you're logged in, and Legendz doesn't publish a package list.
- Free Sweeps Coins: marked packages include them, and the store shows how many with each package.
- Fees: the Terms let Legendz charge a processing fee, shown at checkout. A 2.9% fee on purchases is widely reported, though Legendz doesn't publish a figure.
- Refunds: Gold Coin purchases are final.
- Limits: you can set your own purchase limit over 1, 7 or 30 days.
The Welcome Package section above covers the first-purchase offer.
How prize redemption works
Only Sweeps Coins won through play can be redeemed. You can redeem when:
- your account is fully verified;
- the Sweeps Coins you played have met the 1x playthrough; and
- you hold at least the minimum for your route: 100 redeemable Sweeps Coins for cash or 50 for a gift card.
Each Sweeps Coin is worth $1. You don't need to have bought anything to redeem.
Legendz payment methods
| Method | Purchase | Redemption | Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Debit and credit cards | Yes | See below | Must be in your name |
| Apple Pay | Yes | No | Must be in your name |
| Skrill | Yes | Yes | Cash prizes go back to Skrill if you bought with it |
| Online banking | Yes | Yes | 100 Sweeps Coins minimum for cash |
| Gift cards (Prizeout) | No | Yes | 50 Sweeps Coins minimum; sent to your registered email |
There are no crypto purchases or prizes on Legendz.
Cash prizes go back to the account or wallet you bought Gold Coins with. If that isn't possible, they go to a bank account you nominate, and Legendz can insist on a particular method. Card buyers commonly receive cash prizes back on a debit card. If you've never bought anything, a nominated bank account or a gift card is the route.
Cash versus gift cards
- Cash: 100 Sweeps Coins minimum, paid by online banking, Skrill or back to your card.
- Gift cards: 50 Sweeps Coins minimum, issued through Prizeout and sent to the email address on your account. It's the lowest bar for a first prize.
- Both minimums can be changed at Legendz's discretion.
Redemption limits and speed
- Minimum: 100 Sweeps Coins for cash; 50 for gift cards
- Florida: a prize from a single spin or play is capped at $5,000
- Daily cap: Legendz can limit redemptions to $10,000 a day, or another amount over any period
- Fees: a processing fee may apply, shown before you confirm
Legendz doesn't publish redemption times in its rules. It advertises a two-hour processing guarantee for valid, verified requests, with some exclusions. In practice, Skrill and prizes sent back to a debit card usually arrive within a day, often within hours, gift cards arrive quickly, and bank transfers commonly take two to five business days. Your first request is the slow one while verification finishes.
Where redemptions get stuck
Most requests go through without trouble. Some take longer, with a second round of verification at the point of redeeming, a bank account that won't verify, or a switch to Skrill to get paid. The common snags are procedural and easy to avoid: a name or address that doesn't match your ID, a payment account in someone else's name, a balance below the minimum for your route, or a location check flagging a VPN. Finish verification early and redeem to an account in your own name.
Legendz Casino Games & Playing Experience
Legendz's library has grown fast: roughly 1,300 to 1,700 games in 2026, from 25 to 30-odd studios, with live dealer tables, in-house Originals and a sweepstakes sportsbook alongside the slots. Every casino game can be played with Gold Coins for fun or with Sweeps Coins for prizes.
Slots
Slots make up most of the lobby, including Legendz-branded exclusives. Studios include:
- Hacksaw Gaming
- Nolimit City
- NetEnt
- Red Tiger
- Big Time Gaming
- Playson
- BGaming
- Evoplay
- 3 Oaks Gaming
- Penguin King
Table games, live casino and more
- Live dealer: Legendz-branded blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables plus around 30 more tables and game shows from an outside studio. This is one of the site's stronger areas.
- Legendz Originals: quick in-house games such as Plinko, Mines, Dice, Coinflip, Rock Paper Scissors and Cluck It. Legendz says they're provably fair, using cryptographic checks.
- Bingo and Slingo games.
- Table games: digital (non-live) blackjack and roulette are thin.
Jackpots
Three opt-in site-wide jackpots, Minor, Major and Mega, sit on top of the slots, with the top prize running into hundreds of thousands of Sweeps Coins. Opting in adds a small extra cost to each spin. The jackpot terms on Legendz's public page cover the Gold Coin version, which has no prize value; only Sweeps Coin jackpots carry prize value.
Sweepstakes sportsbook
The sportsbook is what sets Legendz apart from most sweeps casinos. It takes the same Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins as the casino, covers 30 to 40-plus sports including esports, and offers parlays, same-game combinations and in-play markets, with prices players call competitive. It isn't available in Ohio, where only the casino is open.
Game access and minimum play
You switch between Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin play from your balance, and the game reloads when you switch. Each game shows the Sweeps Coins it needs, and no maximum stake is published. Any Sweeps Coin game counts toward the playthrough, with no weighting.
Game information and fairness
Legendz says it runs "the highest available RTP" on every casino-style game. It doesn't publish a site-wide figure, but some games show their return to player (RTP) in the lobby, including Legendz-branded slots at between about 93.9% and 96.2%. Check a game's information screen before you play, because one game's RTP doesn't tell you another's.
Everyday experience
A 2026 redesign gave Legendz a clean, dark look that's easy to find your way around, with search, a provider filter and, on phones, a menu bar along the bottom. Games mostly load quickly. Some players hit occasional slow first loads or error screens, the sportsbook section runs heavier than the casino, and in-game controls can be small on phones. Gold Coin winner feeds add some clutter to the lobby.
Purchase & Redemption Methods
Eligible States
Legendz says it accepts players in 40 states (counting DC). State law is a separate column: it's our tracker's reading of each state, and the two don't always agree.
Legendz lists Indiana, Maine and Utah, where our tracker records a ban in force. We show both. Check the site's own rules before you buy coins.
Legendz sets its own minimum age of 18. Under each state we also show that state's minimum age for online gambling in general. It isn't a sweepstakes-specific rule, and the two ages can differ. More detail: gambling age by state. This is general information, not legal advice.

Legendz Operator, Sweepstakes Rules & Security
Legendz is run by Platinum Panther Ltd, a company registered in Malta (C111924) at 13 Baysteps Mansions, triq Alfred Gauci, San Giljan. Platinum Panther Ltd sponsors the promotions, and payments are processed by Platinum Panther, LLC. Older Legendz pages and the 2025 and early-2026 regulator letters below use an earlier Cyprus registration for Platinum Panther Ltd, in Limassol.
Legendz publishes no gambling licence. Its documents set it up as a social casino with a sweepstakes promotion, and open by stating that the platform doesn't offer real-money gambling.
Two public documents govern play:
- The Sweeps Rules, version 3.2, dated 12 March 2026, cover Sweeps Coins: how they're given out, the playthrough, the mail-in request, prizes, minimums and caps, and the eligible states.
- The Terms and Conditions, version 3.2, of the same date, cover your account, Gold Coin play, purchases, verification and disputes.
Both are PDFs on Legendz's own site, so you can read and save them before you sign up.
Security basics:
- ID, selfie and Social Security number checks before any prize is paid
- Name checks on payment methods, with cash prizes sent back to accounts in your name
- Provably fair Originals, Legendz says, using cryptographic checks
Legal actions and state exits
Legendz is operating normally. Its regulatory history:
- Illinois: the Illinois Gaming Board sent Legendz a cease-and-desist letter on 4 February 2026, calling on it to block Illinois residents or stop offering prizes there. Illinois is still an eligible state under the current rules.
- Maryland: the state's gaming regulator sent a cease-and-desist letter to Platinum Panther Limited, trading as Legendz, on 3 June 2025. Legendz's December 2025 rules excluded Maryland; its March 2026 rules list it as eligible again.
- Tennessee: Legendz was on the list of sites that received cease-and-desist letters from Tennessee's Attorney General in December 2025 and said they would comply. Tennessee is excluded.
- Oklahoma: a state ban on this kind of sweepstakes takes effect on 1 November 2026. Oklahoma is eligible under the current rules until then.
- State changes: California has been excluded since 25 December 2025. The March 2026 rules re-opened Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota and West Virginia, which the December 2025 rules had excluded.
Legendz's Better Business Bureau profile, opened in October 2025, carries an F rating, and Legendz isn't BBB-accredited.
Operator availability and state law are separate questions. The state block on this page shows both for your state.
Legendz Customer Support
- Live chat through the Guest Services widget on the site
- Email: guestservices@legendz.com
- Phone: none
- Complaints: the Terms set a response within 10 days, or up to 20
- VIP players get a personal account manager and priority support
Legendz says its Guest Services team is available on live chat and email 24/7. In practice, chat starts with an automated assistant and hands you to a person, and how quickly varies: some players reach someone within a minute, while others wait 10 to 20 minutes or are asked to leave a message when no one is online. Email replies usually take about a day, sometimes up to three. Agents are polite and helpful once reached, and support runs in English and Spanish. Social-media messages are a slow route; use chat or email.
Responsible Play
Legendz's tools sit in its Responsible Gaming section, and support can set them for you too:
- Purchase limits: daily, weekly or monthly. Lowering a limit is immediate; raising one takes 72 hours.
- Take a Break: 1, 3, 7, 14, 30 or 90 days.
- Self-exclusion: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years or indefinite.
- Reality Check: a reminder every 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
- Permanent account closure.
Legendz's policy says an indefinite exclusion lasts at least six months, after which you can ask support for a review. Its FAQ says self-excluded accounts aren't reinstated. Treat any exclusion as potentially permanent, and redeem any Sweeps Coins you can first, since a closed account can forfeit them.
Legendz Mobile App & Browser Experience
There's no official Legendz app for iPhone or Android. The full site runs in a mobile browser with no download, and you can add it to your home screen, where it opens like an app. Everything works there: the welcome coins, casino and sportsbook play, purchases, ID checks, redemptions and support. The mobile site closely follows desktop, with a menu bar along the bottom. There are no push notifications or two-step login.
Apps called "Legendz" on Google Play aren't published by Legendz's operator. Use legendz.com in your browser.
Legendz Review Verdict — Should You Sign Up?
Legendz puts a large casino and a sweepstakes sportsbook behind one account and one set of coins. The library runs well past 1,000 games, live dealer tables and the in-house Originals give it variety, and the 3 free Sweeps Coins come with a 1x default playthrough. Its rules are public and current, gift-card prizes start at 50 Sweeps Coins, and Skrill and card prizes usually arrive within a day.
The 100-coin cash minimum means the free coins are a taster, as the True Value section in Part 1 shows. Open the store soon after signing up to see the first-purchase offer and any fee before you pay, log in at least every 45 days, and finish verification before your first redemption.
A good pick if you: want casino games and sports picks under one account in an eligible state, enjoy live dealer tables and quick in-house games, and plan to redeem by Skrill, card or gift card.
Consider another site if: you want a native app, a 50-coin cash minimum, a first-purchase offer you can see before signing up, or phone support.
What would make Legendz better: publish the first-purchase offer and package prices on the public site, publish redemption times and the purchase fee in its rules, explain what the daily spin purchase condition means in practice, and align its two descriptions of self-exclusion.
Final score
The OddsGuru verdict
“A full-featured sweeps site with around 1,300+ games, strong live dealers, site-wide jackpots, a sweepstakes sportsbook and fast card and Skrill redemptions. Worth knowing: cash redemptions start at 100 Sweeps Coins, there's no app, and coins expire 45 days after your last login.”
